Scenario 1: The Comeback

Debt Recovery Strategy

Situation: Alex is in deep rep debt after Round 1 battles. Can Alex use Round 2's 2x multiplier to mount a comeback?
Alex (Red)
Health: 18
Stored Reps: 0
Debt: 8
Hand: 3 cards
Sam (Blue)
Health: 20
Stored Reps: 5
Debt: 0
Hand: 4 cards

Round 2 Active: All workouts worth 2x reps!

Recovery Strategy

Train Card #218
High Knees Move Card
Alex's Plan:
1. Play Train Card #218 (7 squares - chooses 3 exercises)
2. Perform 3 exercises from the card = 3 reps × 2 = 6 reps earned
3. Pay off debt: 6 reps - 8 debt = still 2 debt remaining

Follow-up:
4. Play Move Card "High Knees" (5 triangles)
5. Do 5 high knees = 5 reps × 2 = 10 more reps
6. Pay remaining debt: 10 - 2 = 8 stored reps!

Result: From -8 debt to +8 stored reps in one turn!

Sam's Counter-Attack

Battle Card #001
Sam sees the threat and responds:

Plays Battle Card #001
Attack: 10 | Cost: 5
Defend: 2 | Cost: 1

Card Health: 10+5+2+1 = 18

Sam's Attack:
• Pays 5 stored reps (5-5=0 remaining)
• Deals 10 damage to Alex
• Alex must defend or lose health!

Can Alex's new reps save him?

Defensive Counter

Battle Card #002
Alex plays his own Battle Card #002:
Attack: 8 | Cost: 10
Defend: 1 | Cost: 7

Card Health: 8+10+1+7 = 26

Alex's Defense:
• Uses Defend: 1 (NOT enough to block Sam's 10 attack!)
• Takes 9 damage (10-1=9)
• Alex loses 1 health (17/20)

Alex's Counter-Attack:
• Needs 10 reps for attack but only has 8
• Must add 2 to TAB or skip attack

Lesson: Round 2 multiplier enabled recovery, but Alex (red) needs better defensive cards!

Scenario 2: Graveyard Revenge

When Your Own Cards Haunt You

The Setup:
Turn 1: Alex destroyed Sam's Battle Card #002
Turn 3: Sam draws from graveyard...

Current Graveyard:
- Battle Card #002 (Alex's original card)
- Move Card "Push-up" (used earlier)
- Build Card #175 (expired effect)

Sam's revenge plan is about to unfold...

Revenge with Your Own Card!

Battle Card #003 from Graveyard
Sam draws Battle Card #003 from graveyard

Original Stats:
Attack: 2 | Cost: 3
Defend: 10 | Cost: 8

Round 3 Flexibility Active!
Corner numbers: 2, 3, 10, 8
Sam can rearrange for any purpose:

Sam's Optimal Setup:
- Attack: 10 damage (was 2!)
- Attack Cost: 2 reps (was 3)
- "I'm using your own card against you, Alex!"

The Devastating Counter

Target Battle Card
Sam's Attack:
• Uses Alex's own Battle Card #003
• Pays only 2 reps (thanks to Round 3 flexibility)
• Deals 10 damage to Alex's current Battle Card

Alex's Battle Card #004 Health:
Started with 22 health (10+5+6+1)
Takes 10 damage = 12 health remaining

Psychological Impact:
"That's MY card you're using against me!"
Perfect revenge executed

Strategy Lesson: Powerful cards in graveyard benefit ALL players

Scenario 3: Build Card Trap

Forced Workouts with Penalties

Alex's Trap: He places Build Card #289 face-down
Sam's Choice: Reveal it or ignore it?

Build Card #289 Stats:
Exercise Squares: 6 total (4 orange, 1 red, 1 green)
Penalty: -2 reps
Round 2 Active: 2x multiplier
Alex (Red)
Stored Reps: 4
Face-down: 1 card
Sam (Blue)
Stored Reps: 2
Must decide: Reveal or ignore?

Springing the Trap

Build Card #263
Sam decides to reveal Build Card #289

Forced Workout:
1. Card shows 6 squares (4 orange, 1 red, 1 green)
2. Sam chooses to do 3 exercises (half the squares)
3. Earns: 3 exercises × 2 (Round 2) = 6 reps

Build Card Penalty:
4. Penalty: -2 reps
5. Net result: 6 - 2 = 4 reps gained
6. Total stored reps: 2 + 4 = 6 reps

Build card still worked strategically! Sam gained reps but Alex forced him to exercise on Alex's terms.

Trap Success & Follow-up

Build Card Follow-up
Alex's master plan unfolds:

Phase 1 Complete:
✓ Sam forced to exercise
✓ Sam gained minimal net reps
✓ Alex conserved his 4 stored reps

Phase 2 - Alex's Attack:
Alex plays Battle Card #004
Attack: 8 | Cost: 3

Attacks Sam while he's repositioning
Sam can defend with his 6 reps or take damage

Strategy: Build cards weaken opponents for follow-up attacks

Scenario 4: Move Card Precision

Exact Rep Management

Critical Situation:
Alex needs exactly 5 reps to power his Battle Card attack
He has multiple Move Card options

Alex's Hand:
• Move "Shadow Boxing" (7 triangles)
• Move "High Knees" (5 triangles)
• Move "Air Squats" (6 triangles)
• Battle Card ready for 5-rep attack

Which combination gives exactly 5 reps most efficiently?

Calculating the Perfect Combo

Shadow Boxing Move Card
High Knees Move Card
Air Squats Move Card
Option 1: Single Card
• Shadow Boxing (7 triangles): Do 5 reps
• Energy cost: LOW (light cardio movement)

Option 2: Two Cards - Optimal
• High Knees (5 triangles): Do 5 reps
• Perfect match for exactly 5 reps needed
• Energy cost: MODERATE

Option 3: Conservative
• Air Squats (6 triangles): Do 5 reps
• Saves the triangle but higher intensity

Alex chooses Option 2 - High Knees for exactly 5 reps!

Precision Execution

High Knees Selected
Alex's Perfect Execution:

Single Action: Play "High Knees" Move Card
• Scans QR code for proper form
• Declares: "I'll do 5 reps" (exactly what he needs)
• Performs 5 high knees
• Gains: 5 reps

Perfect Match:
• Used only 1 action instead of 2
• Conserved energy with cardio vs. strength moves
5 reps - Perfect for Battle Card attack!

Smart card selection = maximum efficiency!

Scenario 5: Round 3 Chaos

When Weak Cards Become Godlike

Round 3 Active:
• 3x rep multiplier
• Battle card corner flexibility
• Any number for any purpose

The Situation:
Alex has a "weak" Battle Card #001
3 | 2 | 15 | 1

Original: Attack 3, Cost 2 | Defend 15, Cost 1
Can this terrible card become powerful?

The Transformation

Round 3 Magic:
Corner Numbers: 3, 2, 15, 1

Alex's New Configuration:
• Attack Damage: 15 (was 3!)
• Attack Cost: 1 rep (was 2)
• Defend Power: 3 (if needed)
• Defend Cost: 2 (if needed)

Result:
15 damage for only 1 rep cost!
The weakest card became the strongest!

Round 3 completely reverses card power dynamics

Unleashing Chaos

Alex's Attack:
• Pays 1 rep (cheapest possible)
• Deals 15 damage (massive!)
• Opponent's Battle Card had 12 health
• Overkill: 15 > 12 = Card destroyed!
• Opponent loses 1 health

"How did a 3-attack card just deal 15 damage?!"
Round 3 flexibility changed everything

FAQ: Basic Mechanics

Q1: When do players draw new cards?
A: At the start of each turn, players draw 1 card from the remaining deck until they have 5 cards in hand. If the deck runs out, players shuffle the graveyard to create a new deck. Players never have more than 5 cards in hand.
Q2: Can I play and reveal face-down cards in the same turn?
A: No! Face-down cards can only be revealed by opponents on their turn. When you place cards face-down, they stay there until your opponent chooses to reveal them (or ignores them completely).
Q3: What if I physically can't do an exercise?
A: Substitute with any exercise you CAN do! The goal is fitness, not specific movements. Modify as needed - seated exercises, resistance bands, or even isometric holds. The rep count is what matters for the game.

FAQ: Card Mechanics

Q4: How exactly do Build card penalties work?
A: Build cards force you to do a workout AND subtract reps. Example: Card #289 shows 6 squares with -2 penalty. You choose how many exercises to do (1-6), earn those reps (×multiplier), then subtract 2. In Round 2: if you do 3 exercises = (3×2) - 2 = 4 net reps. The penalty is always subtracted regardless!
Q5: Can I choose how many reps to do on Train cards?
A: Yes! Train cards show 1-7 colored squares. You can choose to do 1 rep each for as many exercises as you want (up to the maximum shown). More reps = more stored reps earned, but also more physical effort.
Q6: What happens if my Battle card is destroyed?
A: When a Battle card's health reaches 0: (1) The card goes to the graveyard, (2) The card owner loses 1 health, (3) Any ongoing battle effects end. The card can later be drawn from the graveyard by any player.

FAQ: Advanced Rules

Q7: How does Round 3 Battle card flexibility work exactly?
A: In Round 3, you can use ANY of the 4 corner numbers for ANY purpose. Example: Card has 3,2,15,1. Normal attack might be "15 damage for 2 cost." In Round 3, you could make it "15 damage for 1 cost" or even "3 damage for 15 cost" if that helps somehow!
Q8: Can I play cards while in rep debt (negative TAB)?
A: Yes! Having rep debt doesn't prevent you from playing cards. However, you can't spend stored reps you don't have. Any additional costs would add to your debt. Focus on earning reps to pay down the debt.
Q9: Who can draw from the graveyard?
A: ANY player can draw from the graveyard during their draw phase (instead of drawing from the deck). This means powerful cards you played can come back to haunt you! Graveyard cards are available to everyone.

FAQ: Strategy & Timing

Q10: Should I always do the maximum reps possible?
A: No! Strategic players conserve energy. Do only what you need for your current strategy. Doing 7 burpees when you only need 2 reps wastes energy you might need later. Smart rep management wins games.
Q11: What's the best strategy for face-down cards?
A: Mix threatening cards (Battle) with traps (Build). Place them when opponents have few reps to respond properly. As the revealer, choose order carefully - sometimes reveal the "smaller" threat first to bait out defenses, then hit with the big one.
Q12: When should I take rep debt instead of doing exercises?
A: When Round 2 is coming and the 2x multiplier will make recovery easy, or when avoiding immediate health loss is more important. Sometimes strategic debt prevents bigger problems. Never fear the TAB if you have a recovery plan!

FAQ: Common Mistakes

Q13: Can I attack and defend with the same Battle card in one turn?
A: No! Each Battle card can only perform ONE action per turn - either attack OR defend, not both. Choose wisely based on the situation. Multiple Battle cards can each perform their own action.
Q14: Do round multipliers apply to everything?
A: Multipliers only apply to reps EARNED from exercises, not costs paid or penalties suffered. Round 2: earn 6 reps from 3 exercises, but still pay full costs for Battle card actions. The multiplier helps you build up reps faster.
Q15: What if we run out of cards completely?
A: Very rare, but if both deck and graveyard are empty, players continue with just their hand cards until someone wins. Usually games end well before this due to health loss from Battle card destruction.

Pro Player Tips

Next Level Strategy

Card Counting:
Track which cards have been played and are in the graveyard. Knowing what's coming helps planning.

Tempo Control:
Control the pace. Force opponents to react to YOU rather than executing their own plans.

Energy Management:
Your physical energy is a resource. Don't exhaust yourself early - save strength for crucial moments.

Psychological Plays:
Bluff with weak face-down cards. Make opponents worry about threats that don't exist.

Understanding the Deck

Card Distribution:
• 4 Battle Cards (22%) - Combat focused
• 4 Train Cards (22%) - Rep generation
• 4 Build Cards (22%) - Opponent disruption
• 6 Move Cards (33%) - Flexible rep gains

Statistical Insights:
• 1/3 of deck is Move cards (most common)
• Each player sees ~28% of deck in hand
• Graveyard becomes important mid-game
• Card scarcity creates tough choices

Adaptation Strategy:
Be ready to adapt your strategy based on what cards appear. No plan survives contact with the deck!

Common Game Situations

The Stalemate:
Both players have similar health and reps. Look for face-down card opportunities or graveyard power plays.

The Comeback:
Behind on health? Focus on rep generation and efficient attacks. Round 2-3 multipliers are your friend.

The Domination:
Ahead on health? Apply pressure with Battle cards and Build card traps. Don't let them recover.

The Endgame:
Low health on both sides? Every decision matters. Conservative play vs. all-out assault?
